Bardwood Wandry is a small, traditional wandmaking establishment, creating hand-carved wooden wands for use in magic and ritual. Alferian Gwydion MacLir is the Wandmaker and he is assisted by a number of helpful spirits. Each of our wands is lovingly hand-carved and enchanted with a magical core; many are augmented with magical stones; and all are made from the carefully selected wood of sacred trees according to Druid tradition and Elvish lore. Our wands are not toys but are made for the serious magical practitioner, whether druid, witch, or wizard. Harry Potter fans beware: Magic wands do not work as in J.K. Rowling's novels or films.
A wand is a tool and wands must be charged and invested with intention by their user. Real magic is very subtle and always in accord with Nature's laws. Bard Woodcrafts is dedicated to the use of hand tools and a painstaking process of magical making. The use of machines in our wandmaking is kept to a minimum and nothing is mass-produced. Each wand is unique.
